Merry Christmas!

Well, the classroom is all packed up, all the children's school books have been sent home and my garage is again full of what my dear husband fondly refers to as 'school stuff'. I am left reflecting on a wonderful two terms of fun and learning in Room 8. Thank you to all of the children, their families and whanau who have helped to make 2015 such a great school year and for supporting us as the children began their big school journey. What a fabulous time we've had together. I will take away so many happy memories of Room 8 and Team Star and look forward to following the children, with great interest, as they continue their way through school. I look forward to catching up with you all in the New Year. Have a safe and fun-filled Christmas and holiday break.

Regards
Cara

A Splashing Good Time!

Today we had our second swim in the school pool. It wasn't as hot today as it was last week, but we still had a whole lot of fun!

SWIMMING TOMORROW!

Please remember to bring your togs to school tomorrow and Wednesday. We will be swimming if the weather allows. Parent helpers for dressing prior to and after our swim, at 1.45pm and 2.30pm, would be most appreciated.

Fun at Discovery!

Today Room 8 had their own Discovery with Mrs Wallace and Mrs Learman. We had lots of fun choosing different activities and playing with our friends.

Arion Farm Park

Today we took the Year 0 children to Arion Farm Park. The children, and wonderful parents who accompanied us, had a fantastic time, and we were lucky to have such gorgeous weather. The children were extremely well-behaved and great representatives of St Albans School. Here are some pics of our trip. Thanks to Grace's dad, Robert, for his great photos too.
